Description:
The Process Technician takes responsibility for set-up/start-up/troubleshoot/produce our products in our manufacturing plant in Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the photovoltaic module recipe and troubleshooting with the product defect
- Monitor the implementation of protocols and standard operating procedures
- Process abnormality analysis/diagnosis improvement/improvement of product quality
- Participate in the improvement and preparation of documentation
- Train junior production personnel
- Support material supplier qualification, material inspection andtesting when needed
- Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business Conduct
- Support ISO 9001 activities
- Adhere to all environmental, health and safety rules and policies
- Conduct other duties as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Technical diploma or higher (electrical or mechanical) combined with relevant work experience is preferred.
- 1+years' experience as atechnician ina high-volume manufacturing environment (with photovoltaic industry preferred)
- Exceptional troubleshooting skill with electrical, mechanical componentspreferred.
- Ability to solve complicated equipment malfunction independently and with minimum supervision.
- Proficient with Excel and other applications for data analysis
- Ability to teach junior staff and to transfer experience through informal presentations and on-the-job training.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Expertise with both English & Mandarin preferred)
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision.
