BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Facilities Maintenance Tech at Tucson, AZ.

Expected Duration: 3 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $17.98/hr on W2
Position Type: Onsite Job
Tentative Shift Start Time: 6:00 AM
Tentative Shift End Time: 2:00 PM
Position Description
This position is required to maintain property, buildings and grounds to high standard, which includes the following disciplines plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, Structural, Electrical and Painting. This position will be required to work both alone and with a team to accomplish both work orders and preventative maintenance goals. This position will be able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, appliance equipment and buildings issues. The position must have broad based general knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, carpentry and painting skills. This position will be responsible for maintaining tools and supplies including housekeeping of the maintenance shop. The position will be responsible for general repair work including but not limited to motor and appliance control boards, ballast and lighting repair, operating plumbing equipment to clear drain lines and repair plumbing issues, changing air filters and performing annual cleaning on HVAC equipment, work paint sprayers for outside and inside painting. Position will be responsible for other duties as assigned.
Skills Required
In troublshooting and determining causes of operating errors and repairing errors in mechinal equipment. - In Plumbing, Electrical, Capentry, Sturctral and Painting. - In basic HVAC operations and preventative maintenance. - In electric arc, oxygen-acetylene welding brazing and sodering. - In reading blueprints in structural items including painting and drywall. - In Kitchen and small appliance repair - In carpet repair - In Maintaining paperwork and organization skills. - In general maintenance work.
