Visual Designer Location Charlottesville, VA :

The University of Virginia seeks applications for a Visual Designer to join The Karsh Institute of Democracy. The Visual Designer will lead and implement creative design strategy and services to support Karsh Institute strategic marketing and communications projects. This new position will report to the Director of Communications and will collaborate closely with the Associate Director of Content and Marketing on initiatives that build the Institute's emerging brand and reputation. The Visual Designer will produce creative designs for integrated, multi-platform use across the Karsh Institute's digital and print media as well as visuals that effectively communicate strategic intent. The Visual Designer will serve as the creative lead for projects across the Institute, including its labs and partner initiatives, establishing a look and feel across digital and print channels in alignment with the University's visual identity ecosystem.

This position is located in Charlottesville, VA. and will have the ability to work in a hybrid capacity.

This position is a restricted position and is dependent upon project need, availability of funding and performance. Anticipated Hiring Range: $60,000-$70,000 commensurate with education and experience. This is an Exempt level, benefited position.
