Aspect's environmental Practice tackles challenges on a variety of complex environmental projects all over the Northwest including environmental site assessments, remedial investigations/feasibility studies, property cleanup and urban redevelopments, remedial design engineering, cost recovery/allocation/mediation support, and landfill system monitoring and optimization (check out the Project Case Studies on our website). With Aspect's Environmental Practice's size and geographic reach, you can expect an abundance of variety in your work, strong mentorship, and readily available avenues to expanded responsibility and career growth.

Some of these characteristics include an inquisitive and can-do mentality, proactiveness, self-motivation, an eye for detail, excellent organization skills, and clear writing and verbal communication skills.

As a Project Geologist or Hydrogeologist at Aspect, your work will consist primarily of office work in environmental project management on environmental investigation and remediation projects, often working with multi-disciplinary teams. You will lead the development and implementation of environmental due diligence, remedial investigations, and cleanup actions on known or suspected contaminated sites. The role may require periodic work outdoors in all weather conditions, and in rugged and sometimes remote field locations for short periods of time. You also can expect to work directly with geologists, environmental engineers, and scientists to expand core skills and learn how to effectively apply environmental consulting strategies and solutions for our clients, who include attorneys, landowners, public agencies, engineers, and contractors. This is a long-term, career-track position with the ultimate goal to grow and develop your own practice through effective project delivery and client development.
