Position Overview:

We are an award winning company who builds a great diversity of project types using a wide range of contracting methods. Our portfolio contains millions of square feet of residential, commercial, industrial, and community construction. Our Company specializes in large high-density apartment projects of all types for National REITs and Residential Developers such as Essex Property Trust, Lennar Multifamily Homes, Prometheus Real Estate Group, Bay West Development, Shapell, and various other developers.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial /Retail Superintendent to join our team. This position is responsible for managing construction projects for new and existing commercial and retail properties, including restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, organize, and lead project teams to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Provide on-site supervision of construction activities, overseeing subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, project budgets, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure projects meet requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date project status reports and monitor completion of tasks.
• Resolve project issues and disputes in a professional and timely manner.
• Monitor and review project budget, costs, and schedules.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Construction Superintendent, Construction Manager, or similar role.
• Knowledge of commercial and retail construction projects.
• Experience with restaurant construction projects is a plus.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
