Job description
Terros Health is pleased to share an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Behavior Technician . Working at our Stapley Drive location, This position provides support to members, families and teams of those individuals who are part of the Developmentally Delayed population including the Autism Spectrum, children age birth to five with behavioral needs, and transition age youth (TAY). The program works primarily with children. The ideal individual will possess at least two to three years experience working with Children in a behavioral health setting, and have a high degree of compassion for others and high level of personal integrity.

Terros Health is seeking a Behavior Technician for Children Services
Full-Time
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm or 7:30am-4pm with 30 min lunch
Flexible hours, some evenings required
Experience working with children preferred
Bilingual in Spanish is a PLUS (Additional Language Differential is Available)

*This position is funded by a grant, which is for a pre-determined timeframe of 3 years.
This position provides support to members, families and teams of those individuals who are part of the Developmentally Delayed population including the Autism Spectrum, children with behavioral needs, and children who are experiencing difficulty meeting developmental milestones. The purpose is to provide behavioral support and consultation to the individual members, their family and/or school setting staff. Responsible for responding to crisis calls as needed as well as planned interventions primarily in a school setting. Capable of applying deescalating interventions based on positive behavior support, choice education, and person and family support. Will assist with the development of individual service plan, person centered planning, emergency contact sheet, and the at-risk crisis plan. Will participate in emergency staffing and Child and Family Team ( CFTs) meetings . This position reports to the Clinical Site Manager.
