Durant Vineyards Tasting Room is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable tasting room associate to provide exemplary service for our customers. Our tasting room is open by reservation, and welcomes walk-up guests as well.

Full-Time and Part-Time positions available

Essential Duties

Host tasting experience for club members and new visitors that explains the wines, winemaking, property history, vineyards, olive oil, and overall brand.
Create a warm and inviting environment for all that enter the property.
Work collaboratively with fellow team members, helping out where needed and taking proactive steps to provide exemplary customer service to all guests.
Conduct various types of tours on property for customers.
Follow safe work practice guidelines as required by Oregon Health Authority and Durant Vineyards management.
Work as team to achieve daily and weekly sales and club sign up goals.
Manage multiple customer groups simultaneously, keeping track of their tastings and anticipating their needs.
Ability to confidently ask for the sale to help achieve team goals.
Perform a variety of opening and closing duties, some of which may be labor intensive.
Be available to work weekends and occasional evenings.
Monitor customer consumption of alcohol and adhere to OLCC serving requirements.

Job Requirements

Prior retail or hospitality experience. Does NOT have to be in the wine industry.

Ability to lift and move 45 pounds repeatedly
Ability to be on one’s feet for the entire shift
OLCC License

Compensation for Part-Time and Full-Time:
