Planned Giving Coordinator
Job Description: This position will work with the Director of Advancement to identify and secure major gifts, capital donations, and annual giving strategies. The Planned Giving Coordinator will begin as a part-time position that has the potential to evolve into a full-time position.
Responsibilities: - Plan annual Scholarship Luncheon;
- Organize annual Day of Giving;
- Work with donors on bequests and scholarship establishment;
- Assist in conceptualizing and effectively executing the Annual Fund;
- Secure major gifts and grants;
- Provide accurate and timely donor recognition;
- Support sponsorship and planning efforts for major events including but not limited to: Saints Alive!, Purse Bingo, and the Saints Open.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
- 1-3 years experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, or another communications-based field;
- Strong creative, writing, and proofreading skills;
- Excellent teamwork;
- Spirit of hospitality, creativity, and service;
- In good standing with the Catholic Church;
- Demonstrated love for Catholic education;
- Ability to interact and build positive relationships with internal and external constituents;
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems independently;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality;
- Comprehensive background check.
START DATE: Negotiable, no later than July 1, 2024
