Job Summary:
Family owned food manufacturer is looking for a skilled NH3 Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to round out their current team. This position will be responsible for performing hand-on refrigeration technician duties to maintain the ammonia refrigeration equipment in addition to maintenance on various facility systems including the preventative maintenance, monitoring, startup of system, and ability to learn and certify with boilers. Pay: $28-32/Hour based on experience,
Shift: 3rd Shift
Qualifications: - Industrial ammonia refrigeration and maintenance experience preferred. Ongoing ammonia refrigeration education is required, including HAZMAT response training
- Technical knowledge of, and ability to troubleshoot and repair Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems
- Boiler Operator certification is preferred. Must be able to obtain Operator certification within 3 months
- Maintain operation of all ammonia refrigeration equipment.
- Ensure maintenance of boilers and associated equipment including all testing and adjustments based on test results.
- Monitor temperatures and reading of storage freezers and coolers.
- Complete preventative maintenance work orders as assigned.
- Technical knowledge of, and ability to troubleshoot and repair Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
- Experience with boiler systems
- 3 – 5 years of Industrial ammonia refrigeration and maintenance experience required
- Ongoing ammonia refrigeration education is required, including HAZMAT response training
- Boiler Operator certification is preferred. Must be able to obtain Operator certification within 3 months
