Job description

We are a dynamic healthcare organization committed to excellence in revenue cycle management. Currently, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a key role in medical billing, coding, Accounts Receivable collections, claims error identification, and claims denials management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the entire medical billing process, overseeing claim generation, submission, and payment collection.
Provide supervision and guidance to both in-house and remote billing staff.
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to accurately code procedures and services.
Mentor and guide junior billing staff.
Interface with insurance companies for claims processing and resolution of denials.
Develop and implement best practices in revenue cycle management.
Resolve complex billing scenarios and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Requirements:

CCA (AHIMA) and CPC (AAPC) certification required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing, including at least one year in a senior supervisory role.
Familiarity with the process of identifying and correcting claims errors.
Experience with Accounts Receivable Collections and Claims Denials Management.
Proficient in the use of medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Comprehensive understanding of healthcare compliance and regulations.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
