Job description
Role: Business Process Analyst
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months (Possible of extension)
Description:
We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Process Analyst to join our dynamic team as a contractor temporarily. The candidate will play a key role in documenting our supply chain processes using the Microsoft suite including Visio and Business Optix process management software. As a Business Process Analyst, they will collaborate with the Business Process Manager to record current and future state processes, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the development of efficient and effective workflows.
Responsibilities and Desired Skill Set:
- Collaborate with Business Process Manager to transform listed activities from supply chain teams and IT professionals into visual flows in a business process management tool.
- Participate in interviews, workshops, and process discussions to capture the nuances and intricacies of each step within the supply chain.
- Understand inputs, outputs, decision points, and interactions between different stages of a process to translate provided information into intuitive workflows of the end-to-end supply chain workflow.
- Clearly articulate any conditional paths, exceptions, or alternate workflows within the process maps.
- Identify and document variations in the supply chain processes to accommodate different scenarios or business units.
- Keen to detail and accuracy in process documentation and procedure.
- Experience in developing work instructions, SOPs and training materials
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst, preferably in a supply chain or logistics environment
- Proficiency in using Business Optix software for process mapping and documentation highly desired
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to participate interviews to gather process-related information if needed
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices desired\
- Experience in process optimization and change management is a plus
