As the Hospital Facilities Director, you will lead a dynamic team and be responsible for a wide range of exciting duties, including:

- Procuring permits and licenses to ensure regulatory compliance.

- Overseeing the operation, repair, and maintenance of hospital systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Communication equipment).

- Directly supervising Plant Operations and Telecommunications departments.

- Preparing annual budgets and operational plans.

- Managing service and maintenance contracts, negotiating contract terms, and soliciting RFPs.

- Negotiating utility agreements for natural gas, oil, and electrical power procurement.

- Developing Capital Budget lists for building, equipment, and system enhancements.

- Planning and implementing in-house construction projects.

- Overseeing corrective and preventive maintenance programs.

- Ensuring environmental and energy efficiency compliance.

To thrive in this role, you'll need a minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare facilities management, a graduate degree in engineering or equivalent knowledge/experience, and thorough knowledge of hospital regulations from agencies like TJC, DEEP, EPA, DPH, CMS, and National Building Codes.
