Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer
Location: Phoenix Onsite
Duration: Fulltime
Overview: We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Phoenix. The ideal candidate will have 69 years of experience with a background in coding proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting and a solid understanding of both OnPrem and Cloud environments. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the security and reliability of our infrastructure through automation and collaboration with development and operations teams.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain security measures in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate security testing and monitoring processes.
- Develop and maintain securityrelated scripts using Python and PowerShell.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Implement and manage security tools and technologies.
- Provide guidance and support on security best practices to development and operations teams.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
- Stay updated on emerging security threats and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of secure cloud and onpremises architectures.
Required Skills:
- 69 years of experience in a DevSecOps or similar role.
- Strong background in coding with proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with both OnPrem and Cloud environments.
- Knowledge of security principles standards and best practices.
- Handson experience with security tools such as vulnerability scanners IDS/IPS SIEM etc.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as CISSP CEH AWS Certified Security etc.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g. Terraform Ansible).
- Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g. PCI DSS HIPAA GDPR).
