Flint Hills Resources is seeking an
Integrity Project Manager in support of crude oil, refined products, gas, and chemical pipeline and facility assets based out of either our
Beaumont TX, Corpus Christi TX, Houston TX, Pine Bend MN, or Wichita KS office locations. An Integrity Project Manager role oversees pipeline and facility integrity projects including in-line inspection, pipeline anomaly excavation, evaluation and repair, facility integrity evaluation and repair projects as well as other integrity construction/maintenance activities. The Project Manager leads and manages the project team to safely complete the project and ensure all functional design, quality, and compliance requirements are met or exceeded, the project schedule is maintained and completed on time and within the approved budget. This person will manage 20-50 projects annually in the range of $100,000-$7M using industry best practices in setting business objectives, developing scope and scope control, front-end loading, and sourcing contractors to accomplish company objectives and deliver competitive projects.
Our Team Our team consists of pipeline integrity engineers, project managers, and integrity specialists whose primary responsibility is to assess and mitigate risk. We accomplish this through data analysis, making repair recommendations, and project execution for the pipeline and facility assets we own and operate.
What You Will Do Lead, direct, and coordinate projects with internal and external technical resources to meet all project requirements for safety, compliance, budget, schedule, functionality, and quality, meeting or exceeding company and industry standards and expectations.
Work within the Integrity Management Team and alongside Asset Owners by preparing project scopes, cost estimates, and execution plans for integrity and repair projects as well as new and expansion projects.
Develop and implement project plans which include risk-assessed cost estimates, contracting strategies, fabrication and construction, quality assurance, commissioning, and project closure documentation to complete projects safely, on time, and on budget
Additional responsibilities include reporting project progress relative to cost tracking/forecasting to all project stakeholders
- Managing labor and material to prevent cost overrun.
- Ability to employ technology in an effort to problem-solve
- Willing and able to travel approx. 10% of the time
- Ability to work in hot, cold, or inclement climate conditions
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs to reach equipment
- The position requires the ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)- Five (5) years or more of pipeline and facility integrity experience
- Experience managing multiple projects at one time in various phases of planning & construction.
- Ability to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential card.
What Will Put You Ahead - Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Ten (10) years or more of experience managing projects in the pipeline/facility industry
- Experience managing pipeline un-intended exposure/re-bore projects
- Experience with DOT 195 and 192 regulations; knowledgeable and able to follow regulations accordingly
- Experience managing anomaly excavation, evaluation, and repair projects
- Experience with pump/piping design and pipeline integrity testing (hydro testing, ILI tools, direct assessments, guided wave, other NDE etc.)
