Job description
As the Technical Project Manager, you will gather requirements, conduct sprint planning, communicate technical progress, and develop cross-organization processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience leading large engineering teams and multiple efforts
- Knowledge and experience using Agile frameworks
- Expertise with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint
- Experience gathering and tracking requirements, planning technical sprints, and driving technical tasks to completion
- Experience preparing documentation and contract deliverables to effectively convey program performance and needs
- Expertise serving as the liaison between customers and engineers, bridging the gap between customer requirements and the technical solutions
- Comfortable managing the delivery expectations of solutions and being able to identify gaps in government requests
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
- 12 years experience, BS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study (An additional 4 years of IT experience can substitute for a BS Degree, 6 years for a Master’s, and 8 for a Ph.D.).
- At least one technical certification in systems engineering (e.g. INSOCE), Information
- Security (e.g. CISSP), Networking (e.g. CCNA), System Administration (e.g. RHCE, MCSE), virtualization (e.g. VCP), information systems management (e.g. ITIL), Project Management (e.g. PMP, Agile), or in other IT-related domain.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a Scrum Master role (desired)
- Knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as the definition of done, user
- stories, automated testing, backlog refinement) (desired)
