Experiential Project Coordinator

Scps Unlimited

Torrance, CA | United States

Job description

Please read the ad in its entirety - This is NOT a sales, marketing or PR role.

Are you a self-starter and top performer?

Do you enjoy being part of an exciting, creative, and cutting-edge company?

Then come join SCPS’s Experiential team.

We use the latest technologies and fabrication methods in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, while working with leaders around the globe to create products and experiences that are innovating and exciting, across many industries. We cover anything from Design & Concept to Installation & Event Support and everything in between.

In this role, you will be responsible for project coordination and you will work closely with our team managers, leads and other crew members on a daily basis.

Your ability to work independently with limited direction, communicate effectively with team members in multiple locations on many different projects, and drive project timelines will be critical to your success.

You will work on a team creating and managing calendars, schedules, task lists, submitting requests for quotes, ordering, budgeting and managing multiple projects while partnering closely with crew members and management to ensure projects are on time and budget, delivered, installed and wrapped up.

As a single point of contact for various aspects of the project coordination process, you will be required to meet deadlines, resolve problems and develop relationships at all levels of the organization, including outside vendors.

You must be able to swiftly assist on one or more projects, usually with demanding deadlines from start to finish, and know where each project stands at all times. You must enjoy using your fabrication/construction skills when needed, and enthusiastically adapt to additional tasks in our studio. You must be willing to get your hands dirty and help build, if needed.

Our ideal candidate would have previous experience in the industry including set construction, scenic construction, or experiential production.

Your schedule needs to be flexible and will sometimes require travel, late nights, and/or weekends. You must be local to the South Bay or surrounding LA and Orange County areas, and work on premises in our South Bay studio.
