Position Summary
We are seeking a Postdoc/Research Associate for a research project focusing on the cardiovascular health effects of cannabis use. The postdoc will design and conduct epidemiological studies; publish manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals; and submit grant applications for external research funds. This is a one-year, full-time position, with a possible two-year extension based on funding and performance. The salary and benefits will be commensurate with NIH standards.

Required DegreeDoctorate -Epidemiology, Public Health, Psychology, or biostatistics
Minimum RequirementsApplicants must possess a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, DO, or combined) with graduate-level training related to biobehavioral health disciplines, such as epidemiology, public health, psychology, or biostatistics. Applicants must have demonstrated research excellence and have excellent scientific writing ability and strong communication skills. Applicants must be self-motivated, be able to work independently, and be able to work effectively with colleagues.
Desired QualificationsIt is preferred that candidates have a background in cannabis, immunity, or cardiovascular research. We also prefer candidates with proficiency in data management and analysis of data using SAS or Stata.
