Job description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our client's team on a full-time, contract basis.

Position Summary:

As a CRNA with Northwest Talent Solutions LLC, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia and monitoring patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. You will work closely with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer anesthesia to patients before and during surgical procedures

- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed

- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort

- Assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgery

- Administer medications and fluids as needed

- Document patient information and maintain accurate records

- Monitor and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies

- Educate patients and their families about anesthesia and post-operative care

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

- Maintain current knowledge of anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment

Qualifications:

- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CRNA

- Current state nursing license

- BLS and ACLS certification

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules as needed
