Assistant Manager, Merrill Family Sailing Center

Student and Campus Life (SCL) inspires transformation in all Cornell students on their journey of individual, academic and personal evolution. Our division is comprised of leading student affairs experts who support our campus on pressing student life matters including public service, health, wellness, social justice, residential living, food services, sports, recreation, career services, and student activities and organizations including sorority and fraternity life. We provide support and services to roughly 25,000 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students on multiple campuses in the U.S. and abroad.

The Assistant Manager of The Merrill Family Sailing Center supports the management of all aspects of the Sailing Centers operations including business and programming operations, budget development, facility maintenance, and the management of the day-to-day operations of the center. Through collaboration with university and community partners, the Assistant Manager facilitates staff scheduling for Physical Education classes at the sailing center, community sailing classes, and summer programming, which are critical revenue generating activities of the center. This role is essential to the smooth and safe daily operations of this facility.

This position is a full-time, 10-month position typically working February 15th through December 15th.
