Are you passionate about assisting children with special needs? Do you want to build on your Autism experience?  If so, this Dublin family would love to interview you! They are seeking a summer nanny for their children aged 14 and 11 years.  Care is needed Monday-Friday from 11:30-3:30, every other week. No care will be needed June 26-30th.  The 14 year old boy is Autistic and non-verbal. They are seeking someone with a minimum of 4+ years of Autism experience and has experience monitoring the child’s behavior to identify any signs of distress or need of redireciton. He has a tendency to run when upset, so they need a nanny who understands and is willing to learn his cues. The other child, the 11 year old, loves sports, imaginative play, and playing outside. This position includes meal prep, light housekeeping after the children, and facilitating some educational activities. The nanny would be responsible for all daily tasks in relation to the children, including maintaining their daily routines and creating a safe environment.
