Key Responsibilities:

Systems Design and Development:

• Lead the design and development of complex computer systems to meet business requirements.
• Provide technical expertise in architecting solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Business Process Analysis:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze and understand their processes, translating requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct comprehensive business process reviews and recommend improvements.

Data Management and Analysis:

• Oversee the design and implementation of database solutions, ensuring optimal data storage, retrieval, and integrity.
• Perform advanced data analysis to extract meaningful insights for strategic decision-making.

Technical Leadership:

• Mentor and guide junior analysts in the team, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies, providing thought leadership to the IT team.

Project Management:

• Lead and participate in the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Security and Compliance:

• Ensure the security and compliance of computer systems by implementing and monitoring robust security measures.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.

Vendor Management:

• Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and implement third-party solutions, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and meeting business requirements.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience as a Computer Systems Analyst, with a significant portion of that experience in the financial industry.
• Proven track record of successful project leadership and system implementation.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• In-depth knowledge of database management systems (SQL, Oracle) and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with financial software, risk management systems, and trading platforms.

Analytical Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to analyze complex business processes and systems.

Communication and Leadership:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team.

Regulatory Knowledge:

• Understanding of financial industry regulations and compliance requirements.

Certifications:

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Computer Systems Analyst (CCSA) or similar certifications in the financial domain are a plus.
