Maintenance Mechanic – Job Summary:

We’re supporting our client, a leading manufacturer based in Cleveland, Ohio who are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join their growing team. The successful Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for repairing and maintaining all company equipment and machines, to help minimize downtime in order to maintain continuous production operations. The mechanic will help troubleshooting, analyzing, evaluate and determining causes of equipment failures. And performs other duties assigned to them.

Salary:                         $35,000 – $50,000

Responsibilities:

• Performs mechanical, electrical, hydraulic pumps repairs, on all company equipment and machines, to minimize downtime and assure continues production.
• Knowledge of fabrication, HVAC, and machine rebuilding.
• Adequate knowledge of reading machine and electrical blueprints.
• Troubleshooting, analyzing, evaluating and determining causes of equipment failures.
• Ability to read blueprints/ willing to learn to read blueprints.
• Performs other duties assigned to them.
• Knowledge machine rebuilding/ repair.
• Exhibit strong teamwork, verbal, skills.
• Works with the Plant Manager and Engineer to perform maintenance.

About You:

• Mechanically inclined.
• Good attention to detail.
• Preferably 3 years of experience as a mechanic and/or machine repair.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand up to 8 hours a day.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Highschool diploma/ equivalent.
