Are you ready to dive into the heart of banking operations and play a pivotal role in supporting our Loan Officers and Lending Department? We're seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Commercial Loan Assistant to join our team and help us drive excellence in commercial lending.
Your Role: As a Commercial Loan Assistant, you'll be the engine that keeps our lending operations running smoothly. Here's what you'll be doing:
- Producing Excellence: Prepare accurate and timely commercial loan documentation that complies with bank policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring our lending process is seamless and efficient.
- Workflow Management: Manage the flow of loans through our pipeline, ensuring that each loan moves forward efficiently and effectively.
- Building Relationships: Engage with customers, loan officers, and external vendors to facilitate loan closings and maintain strong, ongoing relationships that are vital to our success.
- Problem Solving: Proactively address and resolve loan exceptions, ensuring that all closed loans meet our standards for excellence.
- Attention to Detail: Review existing loan documentation to identify and rectify errors or deficiencies, ensuring that our lending operations are always top-notch.
- Supporting Excellence: Assist our loan officers, bank employees, and customers with various issues, providing exceptional service and support at every turn.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in loan documentation.
- Strong working knowledge of state and federal banking regulations
- Proficiency in real estate documents such as Title Opinions, Title Insurance Documents, Mortgages, and Appraisals.
- Familiarity with UCC rules and regulations.
- Understanding of other departments as they relate to loan operations.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively, even in the face of frequent interruptions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow directions, comprehend new training, and adapt to changes in policy and procedures effectively.

COMPENSATION: $65-70K
