Product Strategy Directorto join our team in Brentwood, TN.
About the role:Product Director on the Enterprise product team solves client and member pain points through product strategy, development, and evolution. This role develops product vision/strategy, product enhancements and helps set product priorities in collaboration with key stakeholders. In addition, the Product Director determines high-level requirements of product developments/additions including new lines of services, sub products, product features, production functionality, and guardrails. The Product Director will be assigned to more than one product.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for day-to-day execution of discovery, analysis, recommendations, and execution of product innovation for an assigned number of products
- Responsible for evaluating, recommending, and driving product vision/strategy and innovation in collaboration with medical operations and operations leaders: product discovery, product/market fit, product vision/strategy, new or evolved cross-product integrations, and product guardrails and contractual guidelines
- Accountable to driving collaboration with medical operations, operations, and technology leaders to translate business strategy and clinical requirements into technology requirements inside existing technology footprint
- Leverage deep knowledge of customer, data, and market to support the funding, prioritization and enterprise support for product development including business case development, allocation of resources across corporate teams, and partners with Go To Market function to drive client interest and sales
- Builds and communicates deep financial analyses to drive understanding of market positioning, potential cost/pricing models and profitability based on a multitude of data sources and internal/external factors.
- Integrate internal financial and sales data to drive product priorities and decision making
- Partner with Operations Managers, Clinical SMEs and Operations Solutions to drive tactical improvements on assigned products
- Combine and distill key information for relevant strategies and approaches – including internal and external data.
- Develop sets of executive-level presentations on assigned products.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders on specific marketplace and product topics
- Drive collaboration with product and strategy stakeholders to develop and execute, execution roadmaps, pilots, and product playbooks.
- Define, monitor, and report on product specific KPIs. Constantly collect and analyze performance data (e.g., market; financial; operational) to enhance existing products and identify new opportunities for the business
- Drive success and proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategy of products milestones
- Adopt entrepreneurial insight and direction for new product overall value delivery of product suites to internal and external stakeholders
Job Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field or equivalent work experience required
- MBA preferred or advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of related work experience required
- 5-8 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, healthcare business strategy and/or product management
- Healthcare Services or Health-Tech industry experience required
- Management/strategy consulting, investment banking, product management and/or private equity experience required
Preferred Experience:- Strong financial analysis acumen
- Strong communications background
- Ability to communicate with executive leadership
- Demonstrated experience managing products in the healthcare space.
