Job description
Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an Logistics SME to support Space Systems Command (SSC) S4.
This is a full-time opportunity located in Los Angeles, CA.
***Contingent upon contract award***
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Provide SME Logistics and Product Support expertise to S4, in support of SSC Commander and PEO Program Offices
- Support SSC/S4 in providing Product Support Management (PSM) work structure
- Review and partake in the development and review of Logistics documentation associated with the Product Support elements, such as LCSPs, DSORs, ILAs and LHAs, supporting all aspects of the Acquisition Milestone requirements
- Provide inputs, opinion or analysis as required to documentation, plans, policies, as well as documents from higher headquarters or other mission partner agencies (documentation includes but is not limited to Acquisition Strategy Panels (ASPs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), Operations and Maintenance (O&M) cost estimates, and system ownership costs)
- Assist and advise Program Office staff or mission partner agencies on PSE process, purpose, and requirements
- Be a member of, or assist in supporting PEO/mission partner IPTs, meetings and working groups
- Participate in and provide expertise to senior level groups, representing S4
- Provide briefings to SSC and S4 leadership, as well as SSC staff and Program offices
- Provide SME level support to, and on behalf of, SSC/S4 in overseeing SSC installation projects across the enterprise
- Support PEO Program Offices with expertise in the development of new systems into existing/new facilities and sustainment of legacy facilities’ requirements; This may range from defining initial construction requirements for incoming systems, to ensuring a change to an existing system does not impact current base infrastructure.
- Assist S4 and PEO Program Offices with facility security, to include SCIF/SAPF requirements as well as managing the integration of installation requirements across the enterprise
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance : Must have an active DoD Secret clearance and be able to maintain it.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher
Years’ experience: A t least 8 years of experience in related field
- Expertise in following areas: Facilities Sustainment Restoration and Modernization (FRSM), Unspecified Minor Military Construction (UMMC) and Base Operations Support (BOS).
Preferred Qualifications:
Education and Years’ of experience:
Master's degree or higher and at least 10 years of demonstrated experinece in a related field.

Please note: Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
