This is a remote position.
We are working with our client a leading data center construction services company to find a Marketing Communications Manager. This role can be hybrid in Dallas TX area Ashburn VA or fully remote.
The Senior Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for the daytoday creation and execution of the companys marketing communications and content initiatives. The role involves ensuring that all marketing efforts and materials align with and reflect the brand. In addition you will support the internal and external communications and marketing to position the company as an employer of choice.
Responsibilities:
- Corporate Branding:
- Develop and maintain consistent corporate brand materials for service lines events and promotional materials.
- Ensure that all marketing materials align with the companys brand identity.
- Collateral Design and Production:
- Own the design production and distribution of all digital and printed collateral and promotional materials to support the companys sales and marketing programs.
- Manage external agencies and freelance partners to execute high quality deliverables on time and within budget.
- Website Management
- Create content that is consistent with the brand of company both in terms of its services and as an employer of choice. Employs search engine optimization strategies and overall site management
- Content Creation:
- Generate original website content collateral materials and newsletters for compelling and effective communication.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to implement and manage a consistent approach to case study development including identification production approval and implementation of case studies across company s entire product portfolio.
- Social Media Management:
- Take charge of social media content creation including responding to messages generating posts and uploading photos.
- Apply various social media tactics to increase followers build brand awareness and establish company as an employer of choice strengthening the company s social media presence.
- Event / Promotional Planning:
- Research identify and recommend industry events that align with the company s overall business strategy objectives and target segments; maintain comprehensive list of options and confirmed events; keep teams apprised of status.
- Manage conference planning and execution: Develop detailed event plans; coordinate with trade show vendors conference organizers designers/agencies and internal teams to achieve objectives.
- Plan and execute company promotional and advertising communications through digital print and trade shows.
- Contribute to the overall marketing plan by coordinating and implementing various print and digital campaigns.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Create reports on marketing programs including postevent reports regular status reports and analysis.
- Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and recommend opportunities for continued improvement and optimization.
- Vendor / agency management:
- Assist in identifying and managing relationships with external agencies and other communications partners to enhance and complement company s marketing efforts.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in marketing business or a related field is required.
Qualifications:
- Four years experience working as a content specialist or marketing specialist
- Five plus years experience with social media marketing management.
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal. Ability to adapt writing style based on needs for both editorial and promotional elements.
- Experience with website content development and management
- Proven ability to generate new ideas and develop engaging content.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with MS Office package; knowledge of Adobe creative suite preferred. Advanced Power Point skills
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment / able to pivot quickly as priorities shift.
- Self Starter able to deal with ambiguity
- Prior experience managing external resources
- Prior experience with event management
