Functional Architect
New Castle, Delaware

Contract
$90/hr – $97/hr
Grow your career as a Functional Architect with an innovative global bank in New Castle, DE. Contract role with strong possibility of extension and/or conversion. Will require working a hybrid schedule 3 days onsite per week.

Required Skills & Experience
+ Bachelor’s/University degree.
+ PO certification.
+ 10+ years of experience.
+ Payments experience on checks domain.
+ Agile experience.
+ Payments domain knowledge is a must in ACH , Wires and Checks.
+ Experience with migration of legacy systems to latest platforms by re designing the functional flows.
+ Experience in migrating data (Payments, Accounts, etc.) from legacy systems to new platforms.
+ Ability to cater to Non Functional Requirements like performance, resiliency etc. and convert into design and tech requirements.
+ Track record as a Business Analyst within the Financial Services/Banking industry.
+ Experience of working with Agile Methodologies and Tools.
+ Knowledge of the SDLC .
Desired Skills & Experience
+ Master’s degree.
+ Payments ( ACH /Wires), Banking and Checks.
What You Will Be Doing
+ Gather and document business requirements.
+ Develop individual project artifacts as necessary including Business Requirements Documentation (BRD’s), Functional Requirements Documentation (FRD’s), test planning and scenario documents for user acceptance testing ( UAT ), project plans as required for all key technical deliveries.
+ Day-to-day management of individual project responsibilities including milestone setting, task and actions management, coordination and execution of plan within required timelines and to stakeholder quality expectations.
+ Provide implementation/post-implementation project support.
+ Foster and maintain relationships with business stakeholders, support, testing and development team members.
+ Identify key project risks, whether stated or not, and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly.
+ Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
+ Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
+ Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
