Description
The ServiceNow developer reports to the ServiceNow Team Lead, and is will work with the development team to enhance the ServiceNow offering and improvement of the technical tools and systems supporting IT Service Management functions for a large infrastructure support program. Essential duties of this position include:
- Workflow design, management and orchestration between tools and groups
- High-availability and fault tolerant design and implementation of tools
The ideal candidate will have experience in development and an aptitude to learn the core functions of ServiceNow
Other key attributes include:
- Excellent communicator and collaborator, capable of working independently and in small groups of developers.
- Ability to use Object Oriented Design and Unit Testing / Test Driven Development techniques to design, code, test, debug, and document the automation services.
- Independently performs and assists other team members in providing ongoing system maintenance, research, problem resolution, and on-call support tasks for existing systems.
- Conducts investigations of considerable complexity.
- Experience with agile software lifecycle processes; version control methodologies and tools
Experience with related tools and platforms including Identity Access and Management (CyberARK, SailPoint), Microsoft Active Directory, Splunk, and VMWare platforms is a plus.

Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a Bachelors and 1-3 years experience
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must have a computer science background
- · Must be able to get ServiceNow certified within the first 3 months of employment
Target salary range: $50,001 - $75,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
