As the Manager Environment Operations , this position will be responsible for environmental protection and compliance of all operating assets for Liquid Pipelines and Power business units. You will work with internal Operations partners and external partners to ensure environmental matters are understood in the areas of air, water, waste, vegetation and wildlife.

What you will do:
Ensuring efficient and timely environmental support for the operation and maintenance of the existing assets, due diligence initiatives; evaluating significant environmental risks for operations and develop appropriate mitigation strategies; overseeing incident investigation of environmental non-compliances and implement measures to prevent reoccurrence.
Interpreting, and implementing governmental regulations into company policy and procedures to ensure overall consistency for environmental matters across Enbridge Liquids Pipelines and Power assets.
Developing, coordinating, and ensuring compliance and consistent application of all environmental practices, guidelines, procedures and policies; supporting Public Affairs and Regions in the development and execution of Regional Engagement Plans.
Environment operations, ensuring preparedness for, and implementing responses to emergency events and coordinating all environmental response measures.
Resolve and enforcement cases with regulators to result in the least reputational and financial impact to Enbridge.
Responsible for personnel and performance management issues within the group.
Who you are:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Environment, Engineering, Science).
Minimum 10 years of progressive responsible experience in environment with both operational and project experience including supervision and/or management experience.
Proven experience in a leadership position managing Leaders in a team-focused approach is an asset.
Effective interpersonal skills with an ability to connect and inspire change in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Aptitude and communications skills coupled with outstanding negotiation, relationship building and influencing capabilities.
Working Conditions:
Office based.
15-20% travel to field locations, including on-site operational incidents.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
