POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
POSITION:Warehouse Attendant
DEPARTMENT:Warehouse
LOCATION:Ottumwa
SALARY CLASS:SalaryNonExempt
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Warehouse Attendant position will be responsible for inventory management.
- .Do cycle counts every month / spot checks of inventory
- Be able to operate a powered industrial truck and small walking jack as needed to unload trailers.
- Verify shipments against packaging slips.
- Keep work areas clean.
- Issue out parts and put away in coming parts
- Other duties as needed.
- Issue / Reverse goods Receipts
Working Conditions:
- Production and maintenance settings
- Exposure to various chemicals and machinery.
- Slippery floors, cold temperatures, Warm temps
- Hours worked will be 2 days on 3 days off 2 days on 2 days off 3 days on
Relationships:
Internal: Employees on the production line and plant management
Special Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally in English
- Bilingual skills helpful
- Excellent conflict resolution skills
- Computer knowledge required
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work 50+ hours
- Good attendance and safety records
- Plus have working knowledge of Excel and Word.
- Maintenance back round would be helpfulfor identifying parts
- System skills–SAP
- Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision

- High School degree or equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
