Responsible for electrolyzer stack design, stack components optimization, and electrolysis system design.
Conduct multiphysics simulations to aid in electrolyzer design.
Responsible for long term testing, data collection and data analysis for electrochemical systems, including electrolysis and fuel cells. Analyze long term operation of the cells on the test stand, data collection and presentation of results.
Prepare materials including inks, electrodes, catalysts, membrane-electrode assemblies, etc. as needed for projects, and assembling electrochemical cells.
Material processing and material characterization using techniques like SEM, rheometer, Ion chromatography, etc.
Aid in design, fabrication, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrolyzer test systems.
Evaluate device performance with ability to work under minimum supervision with lab instruments.
Component selection and procurement for new test systems
Develop operating procedures for test systems and train new operators
Assist in safety reviews for existing test stands
Coordinate small teams of scientists/engineers to meet fabrication deadlines
