Designscapes Colorado is a landscape design/build firm with an impressive portfolio of commercial and residential projects ranging from large community parks and streetscape design to extensive outdoor living spaces and quiet, intimate gardens as well as ongoing maintenance. What You Will Do

As a key member of this small but mighty team, you will ensure that all AR/AP duties are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Being a flexible team player, you will provide the assistance needed to achieve the targeted growth goals of the Company. This role is located in our beautiful Centennial, Colorado office, and is an in-office position.

Responsibilities:

• Code vendor invoices, manage subcontractor pay applications, and handle invoicing company-wide.
• Respond to A/R inquiries, manage A/R accounts, and track overpayments or shortages.
• Post credit/cash receipts, process job costs, and maintain customer contact for A/R management.
• Perform A/P responsibilities, including reconciling monthly A/P, coding invoices, and conducting weekly AP check runs.
• Provide administrative support, including answering phones, offering Notary services, and occasional typing.

You’re proactive, have a positive, “can do” attitude, and take initiative to improve efficiencies. You describe yourself as a “self-starter” who is able to complete a high volume of work quickly and accurately. You take pride in providing the highest level of service to both your internal and external customers and your high-level of professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in accounting preferred but not required.
• 2-3 years’ experience in accounting required.
• Proficient data entry and 10-key calculator skills.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Sage software; able to learn new computer software.
• Prior experience with vendor communication required.
• Knowledge of landscape design and construction preferred.
• Must possess excellent people skills and demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
