Honeywell is hiring a Quality Engineering Manager to sit at the Tempe, AZ site. This manager will lead a quality organization that applies its expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous improvements working with Operations, Engineering, Operations AME and Sourcing. This person will lead the strategic direction and initiatives that ensures compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance, and product quality.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• 5+ years production quality experience 
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal/external customers
• FAA part145 repair station experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related technical field
• MBA or post graduate degree 
• A&P experience 
• FAA repair station chief inspector experience 
• Manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Significant experience in leading technical teams
• Multisite leadership experience
• Experience implementing Quality Management systems
• Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification 
• Repairman Certification
