Job description

The Care Coordinator is part of the Social Service Division at Circle of Care St. Louis. In this role, the Care Coordinator will provide the following services:

• Conduct intake interviews and needs assessments for new clients
• Research and maintain a directory of community resources, including food banks, housing assistance, job training programs, etc.
• Help clients fill out applications and paperwork for government programs
• Maintain detailed records and case files tracking client interactions and progress
• Participate in training to learn about available resources and social services procedures

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Social Work or related field
• Strong communication, listening, and interviewing skills
• Ability to collaborate with clients compassionately and non-judgmentally
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management
• Interest in social services and/or nonprofit

Hours are flexible, approximately 15-20 hours per week—an excellent opportunity for students interested in social work, case management, and direct client services.
