Inventory Control Specialist
Tri-Pac, Inc. a contract development and manufacturing company (CDMO) specializing in liquid and aerosol filling for personal care and pharmaceutical marketers, is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for immediate addition to our fast-growing team.
Job Description: The Inventory Control Specialist is a professional that will help create a work environment that embraces change by providing the leadership needed to implement and execute goals to meet business requirements. This individual will possess excellent communication skills, be highly motivated with a solid work ethic, maintain excellent time management and be capable of multitasking. The Inventory Control Specialist will have a basic understanding of Production Staging/Inventory Procedure (FIFO), maintains accurate daily records of goods received, able to perform basic math calculations and is organized and able to work with minimum supervision. The ideal candidate will be patient and dedicated to growing with the company, as well as fostering Team spirit with co-workers.
Responsibilities: - Reviews Production schedule for all the Tri Pac locations 2 weeks in advance.
- Stage for Production 2 weeks in advance following FIFO procedures
- Reviews Inventory 2-4 weeks in advance for all SKU’s due for Production
- Reviews Production orders to ensure items on Bill of Materials (BOM) match the Purchase Order
- Communicates & reviews SAP for inventory shortages and components delivery dates for Production 1 month in advance.
- Creates Production Pull Sheets by SKU # for forklift drivers.
- Assist with distributing Pick Lists for Finished Goods shipments, when needed.
- Receive, create MRR and Label incoming raw material in SAP promptly and forward paperwork to Warehouse Manager, Accounting, Customer Service Reps, and Quality Dept.
- Production Inventory Gatekeeper (advise logistics if we should arrange pickup for components depending on Production Schedule)
- Promptly notify the Quality Dept. when raw materials arrive for sampling.
- Conduct frequent component audits for Production.
- Assist with physical inventory audits, Warehouse Manager, Warehouse team, Production Dept, Customer Service Reps and owners as needed.
- Operate forklift when needed.
- Perform other related duties as requested.
- Must be able sit for prolonged periods using a computer, be able to lift up to 40 pounds, and navigate around a warehouse and reach items high and low.
Education and/or Experience - High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1+ years experience with computerized inventory system required.
- SAP, keyboard skills, Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook experience preferred.
- Forklift operator certification preferred.
