A event rental company serving Northern Colorado, is looking for a committed  Warehouse Canvas & Will-Call Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in warehousing, shipping, receiving, and/or inventory control preferred.

Job Title: Canvas & Will-Call Specialist

Exempt/full time 40+ hours per week

Pay Rate : $19.00 Starting per hour

Shift: 9:00am-5:00pm in season and 9:00am-4:00pm in the off season. Position is 40 hours per week, exempt and hours may vary.

Job Description:

When you think of the Canvas Department think BIG WHITE TENTS, like the tents you see at a wedding or a festival. In this position you will be responsible to ensure all tent canvas meets company standards in cleanliness and functionality before being sent out for an order. To be successful as a  Warehouse Canvas & Will-Call Specialist , you will effectively communicate with other team members and departments within the organization, have high attention to detail, lead assistants in specialized tasks, and manage tight deadlines. Multi-craft functions such as sewing, and repair work or product maintenance is required.

Job Requirements:

• Clean, package, & label canvas product to the company’s standard procedure and expectations
• Exhibit strong knowledge of all tent canvas material and processing procedures
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and all departments to relay any applicable important information including, but not limited to:
• Concern for delays in processing tent material
• Damaged/Missing product
• Incorrect inventory counts
• Ideas for system improvements
• Process client orders for personal canvas cleaning and communicate accurate timelines needed to complete these to sales representatives in advance
• Utilize tent washer and loads as efficiently as possible
• Communicate any maintenance or repair concerns for the tent washer immediately to the Maintenance Lead
• Take direction on high priority tasks so event needs and deadlines are met at all times
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance by wearing a uniform and adhering FLEXX dress code
• Ability to pack and organize effectively.

Physical Demands:  Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, stoop, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend repeatedly, identify colors, hear with aid, see, write, count, read, speak, analyze, alphabetize, and repetitively lift. Ability to step up and down from heights of 12” to 29”. Ability to Put up to 5 - 40 lb. boxes in storage areas. The ability to use manual pallet jacks on sometimes slightly imperfect surfaces up to 1,000 pounds up to 60 feet pushing or pulling.
