Job description

Titan Security, of the fastest-growing privately-held security services providers in the state of Michigan, is currently hiring both Armed and Unarmed security officers to work in the surrounding areas of Romulus, Canton, and Livonia.

Current Positions Available:

• Armed Mobile Patrol Drivers
• Unarmed Guard Booths and Access Control
• Unarmed Mobile Patrol Drivers

Wages can vary from $11.00 to $15.00 / per hour but vary by Location, Experience, etc.

Patrol Officer

Responsibilities may include:

• Patrol industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Access Control Officer

Responsibilities may include:

• Maintaining A Secure entrance and exit to the Facility.
• Checking Vehicle Passes to make sure the vehicles are allowed on property.
• Checking Semi Trucks paperwork and directing them to the proper Gate
• Understanding Marsec ( Maritime Security) Procedures
• Conduct Marsec Vehicle inspections
• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information

Required Qualification s of Security Officers:
• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must have a valid drivers license
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check

• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:
• Previous experience as a security officer

• CPL (Concealed Pistol License)

• TWIC Card
