Job description

 

Our client, a Boston-based University, is searching for a contract Compensation Analyst to assist in the development and administration of the University’s compensation programs. Only local candidates will be considered for this hybrid position of 3 days onsite and 2 days offsite.

 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Providing day-to-day compensation administration to support schools, units, and departments.
• Assisting departments with reviewing and updating position descriptions; performing market analyses and providing reports and data for compensation-related decisions.
• Reviewing positions to ensure internal and external equity and FLSA compliance.
• Conducting and participating in multiple University and General Industry compensation market surveys.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, preferably in HR, business or a related field.
• CCP designation preferred or taking classes towards certification.
• One to three years of human resources experience, preferably compensation.
• Previous higher education experience is a plus!
• Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws relating to compensation and pay equity.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Strong problem solving, decision-making, organizational and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with numbers and large volumes of data with accuracy and speed.
• Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and HRIS systems.
• Working knowledge of SAP and MarketPay preferred.

Can be hybrid – 3 days on-site/2 remote
