Job Description Summary
Consulting Services business is seeking a highly creative, self-motivated leader to own and drive the marketing and communications strategies across our global footprint. The successful candidate will have high visibility to senior leaders of the group through managing regular marketing activities and strategic projects. This position will provide consulting services practice and regional teams with the right tools and data to develop strategy, activate and enable their commercial activities, develop customer communications engagement that supports the business growth, and promote the business within its ecosystem of customers, Vernova segments, and partners. In addition, the Leader will be responsible with developing and implementing an efficient social media strategy that will act as an engagement and promotion tool. This role will coordinate Consulting Services presence at various industry events and drive industry recognition of the business and its representatives. Additionally, the role will support our digital demand generation working in close partnership with ODC team. Driving improvements in the lead generation process, the candidate will be responsible to work with our development team to drive automation into our processes.. The candidate will play an integral role in aligning marketing initiatives with regional and global sales targets.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and lead market, customer, and policy analysis, engagement, and strategy to create growth for Consulting Services. Develop strategy for exist as well as new consulting offerings for new and emerging areas.
- Requires specialized knowledge across power sector - Grid , Power Systems and Decarbonization, Markets, Sales processes, or Customer groups.
- Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
- Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within marketing projects, sales processes, campaigns or customers engagements. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- Partner with Commercial leads and Practice leads to support the Strategy development process with market-based data and tools
- Develop packages that provides a clear and consistent communication of our key offerings and value proposition across consulting services portfolio of Power Economics, Grid Integration and Stability and Carbon Management
- Work with commercial to develop a suite of tools to enable the sales force; provide guidance for value proposition enhancement and work with internal and external resources on tools as brochures, fact sheet, sales presentations, website content, reference lists, videos, interactive content.
- Manage event participation - events, source and secure expert/thought leadership speaker and panelist opportunities.
- Own the direction, content, and topics for internal and external storytelling.
- Support the organization in developing internal communications related to sales wins, employee resources group events, recruitment campaigns, and others.
- Develop critical content to showcase internally and externally the team’s capabilities
- Manage cadence of internal communications as they arise
- Manage the global marketing operations calendar, ensuring that all customer-facing events and programs are planned and scheduled in an optimal way
- Implement commercial excellence strategies, enable development of sales collateral, and sales tools to enable orders and sales growth
- Develop local market expertise and insight. Conduct research & analysis on region-specific issues, trends, market dynamics, customer segmentation, targeting and positioning of the business.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of 9 years of experience in marketing, communications, and/or product management
- B2B experience with a focus on the energy sector
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with a CRM (ie, Salesforce) and marketing automation software

- Ability to implement the Systematic Approach to Lean
- Proven record of developing and implementing market strategies across energy sector ( Power Generation )
- Excellent project management skills specific to marketing
- Extremely collaborative and comfortable partnering with multiple stakeholders for end-to-end program development (campaign strategy team, commercial team, etc.)
- Strong communication skills to keep all stakeholders aware and engaged
- Comfortable working and collaborating within a high energy, results driven team
