We are a non-denominational, coeducational Christ-centered school in NE Albuquerque, serving families of children from preschool to high school. Since its founding in 1976, Hope Christian School has prayed for, equipped, and sent nearly 3,000 graduates to change the world. Annually, Hope Christian School educates approximately 1,200 students from Preschool through 12th grade. Job Summary:

Support marketing and advancement initiatives through graphic design, photography, social media, project management and special event planning. The Creative Designer seeks to advance the mission and reputation of Hope Christian School by producing relevant and quality media. As the school's primary internal resource for event branding, graphic design, and photography, under the Director of Advancement, the Creative Designer will work in collaboration with several different departments to bring creative visions to life.

Essential Functions:

• Collaborates with Director of Advancement and/or other project participants to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message.
• Taking and editing pictures for school events.
• Designing social media graphics and/or advertisements.
• Supporting fundraising effort.
• Developing media to support Admissions.

Requirements:

• Build and maintain positive relationships with the HCS community by being accessible, approachable, and eager to help.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or other similar design software.
• Proficient in managing social media platforms.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.

Qualifications:

• Reflect the purpose of the school, which is to honor Christ.
• Bachelor's degree preferred , major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines highly preferred .
• At least 3 years of related work experience highly preferred .
