Job description
Delaware North Gaming is hiring for an Accounting Manager to join our team at Gaming and Entertainment Management (GEM) in Naperville, Illinois. As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including performing financial reporting, consolidating financial results, and processing accounts payable invoice approvals. The Accounting Manager will collaborate with Delaware North leadership to continuously improve accounting processes.

- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes
- Execute strategies and standards related to accounting policy, financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, budgeting, and financial systems and controls
- Lead ad hoc analysis of finances and prepare reports to facilitate decision making
- Oversee audit requirements and cash management procedures
- Collaborate with global business services to continuously improve hand-offs and transitions of work
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience including previous supervisory experience
- Deep understanding of finance and accounting processes
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Expertise in driving continuous improvement and business process management
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Illinois Gaming Board license
