Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.)

Roles and Responsibilities
- Executes production according to the appropriate instructions.
- Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
- Executes the plan of the day passed down from the 1st shift Operations Leader
- Responsible for achieving outlined KPI's and effectively communicating your teams daily performance plan to manager.
What you’ll bring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 3 years of experience in Manufacturing).
- Minimum of 1 additional year of experience in Production Process and Equipment.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in direct floor supervision
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future
- This position is 100% onsite at the Greenville, SC GE Plant
- Must be willing to come in at least 1 hour earlier than staff's shift: 2:45pm-10:45pm

Pay Transparency
The base pay range for this position is $74,800.00 - 93,500.00- . The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 5% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This posting is expected to close on March 1, 2024, or thereafter.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
