Accessory Engineer Position Overview:
The Accessory Engineer will design and develop accessory systems for new aircraft and coordinate with other departments to ensure that the systems comply with all applicable regulations. This person will also guide and mentor staff members in the certification processes and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop accessory systems for new aircraft.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that the systems comply with all applicable regulations.
- Utilize CAD software such as CATIA or SolidWorks to create detailed drawings.
- Analyze mechanical systems and hydraulic systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulatory requirements.
- Ensure electrical systems are in compliance with safety standards.
- Train and mentor staff members in certification processes and professional development.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience in the design and development of accessory systems.
- Proficient in 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and certification processes.
