The Role
Dynamic Logistix is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead and develop a variety of marketing plans and activities that help increase revenue and brand recognition. This pivotal role will be the primary point of contact between our DLX Leadership and our external marketing agency, ensuring seamless communication and execution of marketing strategies. The role includes developing comprehensive annual marketing plans and budgets, which may include events, campaigns, sponsorship, website updates, content, and collateral. This role will be charged with leading the successful execution of the plans. This marketing manager brings energy and enthusiasm to our important work. This person is a well-organized strategist and adept project manager able to prioritize several projects, meet deadlines, and keep others informed of progress and/or roadblocks, should they arise. Finally, this team member is a proactive problem solver, able to identify and implement solutions to a wide variety of issues to meet the marketing team’s and Dynamic Logistix’s goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning and Execution: With assistance from the Director of Marketing at our marketing agency, develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business objectives. Lead the execution of marketing plans across various channels, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
- Budget Management : Manage and allocate marketing budgets effectively to maximize ROI. Monitor campaign expenses, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Agency Partner Collaboration : Act as the main liaison between internal teams and our partners at Kompass Kapital who serve as our external marketing agency. Provide clear and concise briefs to the agency, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and strategic objectives. Collaborate with the agency to develop innovative and effective campaigns.
- Cross-Functional Communication : Communicate marketing strategies and performance metrics to leadership and other relevant departments. Foster collaboration between marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure a unified approach.
- Market Research and Analytics: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats. Analyze data and metrics to measure the success of marketing initiatives and recommend improvements.
- Brand Management: Uphold and enhance the company's brand image through consistent messaging and visual identity. Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines.
- Project Management: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements for all marketing initiatives. Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Other Duties
- Plan and execute tradeshow and conference participation.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage customer databases, analyze customer behavior and implement target marketing campaigns.
- Conduct regular assessments of competitor marketing strategies, product offerings, and industry trends to inform our own strategies.
- Work closely with the sales teams to provide them with the necessary marketing materials and support needed to achieve sales targets.
- Act as the main point of contact for client-specific marketing initiatives, understanding their unique goals, target audience, and industry landscape.
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure marketing strategies complement and support broader organizational goals.
- Participate in leadership meetings to provide updates on marketing initiatives, share key performance metrics, and align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 4-5 years of experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role, with a track record of successful marketing campaign execution.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and traditional marketing channels.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools.
