Associate Strength & Conditioning Coach, Head of Football Performance

Student and Campus Life (SCL) inspires transformation in all Cornell students on their journey of individual, academic and personal evolution. The Associate Strength & Conditioning Coach, Head of Football Performance oversees the physical preparation of the Cornell University Football Program, working under the supervision of the Associate Athletics Director for Strength & Conditioning and as an extension of the football program with close collaboration, partnership, and alignment with the Head Football Coach. This position designs, coordinates, and implements the football strength & conditioning programs for each segment of the year (in-season, winter program, spring football, summer and pre-season) and facilitates all aspects of speed, strength and conditioning for the football team, including weight training sessions, conditioning sessions, practices, and games. In addition, the Coach leads the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective nutrition, meal, and hydration plans and initiatives, as well as collaborates with the Athletic Training Staff to assist with rehabilitation programs and return-to-play protocols for injured athletes. This position may be responsible for other teams as assigned.

This position often requires lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 200 pounds. This position also requires the availability to work evening, weekend and holiday break hours, and travel, including overnight stays.

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $98,000; final offer is dependent on relevant experience, skills and qualifications. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
