Job description
Hire: 6 Month Contract to Hire
Shift: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Title: Aircraft Mechanic (Corporate Aircraft)
Work Environment
- Small family owned company with around 20 mechanics in their hangar*
- Mainly work on Learjet family of aircraft
- SAFETY SENSITIVE FUNCTION
- subject to random drug test
Duties:
Will assist A&P mechanics with keeping aircrafts in safe working condition. Will aid in modifying and replacement parts such as instruments, wiring and tires. Will rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the Job while working under immediate supervision.
- Assists with performing work assigned in accordance with approved FAA data.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Must have HS Diploma
- Must have aircraft maintenance experience or diesel/engine experience
- Must have ability to work off blue prints / schematics
