Job description

A Application Engineer job is available in Anderson Indiana The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the areas of proposal development, microgrid and battery integration engineering design, customer proposal technical support, establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships, and all other aspects needed to assist the development of complex solution sales. Academic background: BA/BS degree required; electrical engineering or similar degree preferred Experience: Prefer five years experience in assisting technical sales in the renewable energy, battery energy storage, or microgrid industries, Proficient in software similar to Visio or AutoCad as well as Microsoft office suite and types of software that can analyze renewable solution metrics Previous experience as development and solutions engineer or similar position, preferably in a role that dealt with distributed energy resources (DERs), such as renewables, energy storage, and other on-site generation and/or microgrids, Ability to communicate and present in a professional manner to all levels of the customer organization. Proven ability to deliver technical information within proposals and technical documents in a timely manner, with a strict eye on detail and presentation. Proven ability to identify and comply with all requests and requirements mandated in RFIs/RFPs, etc. Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of solutions, products and services, and proven ability to position products and solutions against customers. Proven ability to effectively work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and transparent team environment.
