The Sentinel Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Program will completely replace the aging Minuteman III (MMIII) ICBM, an undertaking not performed in over 50 years. This program is considered a “mega-project” and one of the most complex in the history of the Department of Defense. The new ICBM weapon system acquisition effort brings with it the newest digital engineering tools and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices to meet existing warfighter requirements, while having the adaptability and flexibility to affordably address changing technology and threat environments through 2075. As part of the U.S. Air Force's Integration Support Contract (ISC), BAE Systems provides advisory and assistance services in the areas of engineering, logistics, management, scientific analysis, and other subject matter expertise to augment and optimize management of the Sentinel ICBM Prime Contractor. The Role BAE is looking for an experienced Project Manager accountable to the Sentinel Business Operations Program Manager for all tasks assigned. Specifically, you will directly support the Sentinel Business Operations Division providing technical expertise to BAE leadership in developing and maintaining robust program processes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to documenting, developing, editing, coordinating program processes, document reviews, preparing documents for approval, and publishing documents internally. Providing expert advice and support to Sentinel leaders, managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing general administrative activities. This position may also perform the following duties and responsibilities.Develop, prepare, and coordinate reports, information papers, and organizational briefings for the government.
Assist in coordinating, consolidating, analyzing, distributing, and monitoring action items, and tracking suspenses and responses.
Prepare agendas, schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and conference room schedules.
Assist with development and implementation of program schedules and project plans.
Plan and execute organizational activities for both internal and external agencies.
Determine customer requirements and translate these requirements into organizational plans.
Analyze business and technical processes to develop and implement new and modified processes and policies.
Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
7+ years of experience with a Bachelor Degree in English
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a minimum Secret security clearance
Background in technical, scientific, and creative writing
Experience instructing others on effective technical and creative writing techniques
Technical editing and authoring experience including documents, plans, and processes
Advanced grammar, language, writing, punctuation, editing, and style practices
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Teams
Experience collaborating with a team to problem solve and troubleshoot projects
Experience applying effective oral communication skills with peers, subordinates, and leadership
Proactive person with a positive attitude and a “team player” mentality
Must be able to work independently and demonstrate strong initiative
Possess an ability to organize daily tasks with acute attention to detail and minimal to no supervision
Proficiency managing calendars and schedules

MS degree
Project Management Professional Certification
ICBM Acquisitions experience
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
ICBM training systems, maintenance, or operations experience
Agile, Earned Value Management, Control Account Management
USAF Nuclear topic education
Engineering/Agile tools: Cameo, MATLAB, DOORS, JIRA, Confluence
Classified government IT systems
ICBM weapon system/program support experience.
SharePoint site administration experience.
Experience with the Air Force Tongue and Quill style guide and the Chicago Manual of Style
