Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The resource teacher position will require the teacher to plan for, teach, and facilitate student learning and create a positive learning environment. The teacher will provide interventions and accommodations to support the student’s participation and progress in the general curriculum before qualifying for an Individualized Education Plan. The teacher will also maintain academic progress and student records while working collaboratively with students, parents, and building staff. This teacher will lead the Student Assistance Team and support teachers in this process. Be a role model for the students. Open to building positive and supportive relationships with co-workers and school families.

Education and ExperienceEducation and background in Special Education (preferred)
Must hold a valid K-6 or K-12 teacher license in Nebraska.
Safe Environment trained or willing to complete the course
