Job description

Sign-On Bonus: External applicants eligible for up to $30,000.00.

Sign-on bonus eligibility: Open to external applicates who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.

This is a full time (0.8 - 1.0 Status), night shift Registered Nurse position in the Pediatrics department.

The RN utilizes nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care of pediatric patients from admission to department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in clinical setting, acts as patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned timelines.

Minimum Required: RN License required. BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire and PALS within six (6) months of hire. Three to five (3-5) years Pediatric or Critical Care experience required. Recent hospital experience and/or previous nursing practice experience required. Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.

Preferred / Desired: BSN Preferred. Previous Pediatric Acute Care and Pediatric Critical Care experience strongly preferred. Pediatric certifications preferred.

On Call / Weekend Requirements: Per MNA Contract.
